Home Sweet Home

So...this is where we live now :) We're in New Boston, NH...a quant little town with a great rec department! We've got 11 acres of trees for my lumberjack husband, stonewalls surrounding the property, and a little stream in front of the house. There is plenty to keep us busy...including massive amounts of snowfall!

Over the river and through the woods...

...to our house we go. This is a view from a walk back from the mailbox! We kind of live in the woods...but we love it! It is so pretty and peaceful.

Luke saw this hat in the store back in October and he told me he really wanted it. I thought it was hillarious; however, I still take no responsibility for making him wear it.

It wouldn't be playtime if the dinosaurs didn't make an appearance! Grammy got this crazy one for Luke for Christmas...he loves it!

The Tower!

Luke loves building towers...out of everything...not just his blocks. The best part of course...knocking it down!

I made this owl today during naptime out of felt, fabric, paper, and of course...googly eyes! It's for Luke's room :)

Valentine's Day Dinner

Keith made this awesome dinner for us on V-Day. We had Sherry marinaded steak tips and Prawns over lobster alfredo. Not only did it look good, but it tasted amazing :) Thanks hun! You can cook anytime :)

Caution...Men at Work!

Keith came home from Lowe's the other day...and so did this ensamble for Luke! It's daddy's little helper...he loves to wear all of it. He also loves to use his hammer to take things out of the walls. I guess I should be happy right...he understands how to use the tool :)

This little apple tree matches the shower curtain in "the kid's" bathroom. It has a barnyard theme.

It's Craft Time again...

We moved into our new home at the end of November of last year...so we have been calling 231 Bedford Road Home for about 3 months now! Anyway...Luke's new room has a camping theme. This is some artwork I made for his wall along with the frames.

Bear hugs from Lukey

We had a lot of fun getting into the Valentine's spirit this year. Luke is finally old enough to do things and understand what he is doing...it's great! So anyway...we made a bunch of goodie bags with gummy bears and hersey's hugs, and then made homemade tags that said..."Bear Hugs from Lukey". I loved this because he is such a physical guy and when he gives hugs...you know it.

Sledding at Butterfield Mill with Bapa

Lucky Luke has a great (as in wonderful) grandpa who he affectionately named "Bapa" and we all refer to him as Bapa now. We like nicknames. Anyway...Bapa called me last week and asked if Luke could come sledding...I of course thought this was a no brainer and we were at his house within 30 minutes. As you can see...they both loved it! This was also Luke's 1st time sledding. What a winter he is having! Thanks Bapa...we'll have to do it again before the snow melts :)

The Fort

Keith decided that he wasn't tired enough from snow blowing our 400ft driveway...so he snowblowed a bunch of paths through the back yard for Frankie...and then made a huge pile of snow for Luke's fort. What a good Dad! That wall of snow and dumptruck kept Luke entertained for hours.

It's Snow Time Baby!

Believe it or not...this was Luke's 1st Snowman :) We have been blessed with a winter of white...however...it hasn't been the best for snowman or fort building...basically, we've have a lawn full of frozen tundra for months now and we finally got the chance to play in it last week because it wasn't 15 below outside. We had clear skies and sun! I think it was in the 40's...and it felt like a heat wave. It was well worth the effort of putting Luke in his Snowsuit. We had so much fun together! Luke loved the idea of building the snowman...however he kept trying to eat the nose off, and all he wanted to do was knock the head off when it was done :) That's my boy!
