The Castle

I had been trying to find a playhouse for the kids on Craigs list for what seemed like way too long...everytime I would find one that was descent and contact the seller the house would already be spoken for. Anyway...I came across this castle and hesitated because it was girly and I figured Luke would say something if I got it. I contacted the seller who told me that 2 people were already coming over to look at it later that day. At that point I told Keith to get in the truck and go get it because it was only 15 minutes from our house! Well if any of you know where we live...there isn't much that is within 15 minutes of our house so this was close! Keith was able to get the castle and I was so excited. Bapo built this cute deck to sit it on and at that point I had to get a chair and plant flowers because it was too cute. Luke really wanted nothing to do with it at first because it was too girly...but he has since come to terms with it and has decided that he can guard the castle :)

Luke Transforms into a 5 year old!

This past weekend we celebrated Luke and Elle's birthdays. Elle turned 2 on May 29th and Luke turns 5 on June 7th...so last Saturday was the compromise :)Luke wanted to have a transformers party...how can you say no to that?! We had a great time watching his excitement as the party came together and an even better time once the party started. Luke gave us a very memorable 4th year of life filled with great one liners and hillarious stories...we can't wait to see what age 5 brings to the family!

Autobots roll out the cake and fuel up!

A perfect gift for Luke...outdoor explorer gear. He wasted no time suiting up!

Optimus Prime and mini optimus prime...I think this is the party that my brother always wanted. Boy was he glad he showed up!

Elle's Garden Fairy 2nd Birthday Party

Our Elley Belly turned 2 over night! She is cute as can be and loves to chatter, talk with her hands, and repeat everything! She adores her big brother Lukey and is turning out to be quite silly. Where does the time go?!

Elle got this very special trike from Mimi and Bapo...I have honestly never seen anything like this...lets just say they didn't make tricylcles like this when I was 2! This trike is pimped out with disney tunes and it has Ariel the little mermaid on the front and she blows bubbles into the air. Let's just say that even Luke was interested in his sister's pink mermaid tricycle. It was very cute! Elle was clapping and laughing as she played her music and danced in the bubbles.

Elle was very curious to see what was inside this box that was bigger than she was...

Grammy got Elle some hot pink converse all stars sneakers and she loves them!!!

Elle's cake table for her 2nd birthday!

We went with a garden fairy theme...it was contageous!

Tio practicing his uncle skills...no sweat!

When we say Happy Birthday to Elle...she says "happy birthday to you!" and repeats us in her little voice. It is soooo cute!

Luke and Elle's big suprise this year was a trampoline! I decided it seemed like a great idea since they were wanting to jump on my bed everyday non stop! So far so good...everyone loves it. When Elle wants to jump on the tramp she says "I want to jump the bed."
