Merry Christmas from Luke and Elle

My Christmas angels :) Well atleast for a minute :)

Our Holly Jolly Christmas Breakfast

I was very excited to have a place setting for everyone this year, along with real flatware :) Maybe next year we will have the fancy glasses to go with it instead of paper cups :)

Yum! Everyone that can comes to our house for Christmas breakfast and presents with the kids. It is so cool to be able to do this now and to have family to celebrate with.Pay no attention to the feeding system we rigged up for the baby.

Luke was very happy about whipped cream with breakfast!

Elle's 1st Christmas

Elle got a bunch of toys to chew on, along with ones that played music and had lights...she was happy as can be and had no idea what was going on :)

A very special treehouse...for gnomes :)

On Christmas morning this was the last gift that Luke opened and it was a handmade treehouse for gnomes...very clever and sooooo cute. Bapo,Mimi,Connor and Jenn all worked long hours on this toy. They made it all by hand without a pattern. There were a whole bunch of cute little gnomes and their gnome furniture that went with the tree house. This is definitely going to provide us with lots of hours of imaginative play! A special thank you to cousin Rand for requesting this toy to be specially made for him...we lucked out and got one too :)

Look...I caught Tio holding the baby

This is a good sign...Uncle Connor (Tio) is holding the baby and making baby noises. I guess he's coming around, possibly maturing? All I know is he wouldn't hold Luke until he was 2 because he was scared of babies...so this is definitely progress :) I think its cute!

Christmas Morning

Had to do some wrangling this year to get this picture before we started opening presents...I'm such a mean mom making them wait!

Buddies

I think these two are going to get along just fine :)

They just don't make toys like they used too...

Another great day playing in a box!

The Beauty of Photography

Yup...these are my kids :)

Snow Bunny

So I was taking pictures of Elle in this cupcake hat because I thought it was soooo cute. I just love this picture...However, I haven't decided what I like more...Elle or her brother hanging off the deck in the background with his ginormous snow suite hood.

A Visit from Santa 2009 - AKA Bapo

Last week the kids got an early visit from Santa...this was Elle's first time on the big guy's lap and she was quite at home. She almost ripped his beard off on several occasions...and of course, Luke went along with it while he was on Santa's lap and then once he got off he walked over to me and said..."Mom, why is Bapa dressed up like Santa?!"

Homemade Christmas Stocking

Just thought I would post this stocking...I made it for a customer...this really cute woman bought a whole bunch of hairclips from my store and wanted them for her daughter's stocking...she then had the crazy idea to ask me to make her daughter a stocking as well...so here it is...my very first Christmas Stocking :) I was quite scared of this project, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

Luke's Gingerbread Train

Isn't this cute?! I have never seen a gingerbread train until Keith brought one home from work the other night. Teresa bought this cute kit for Luke and apparently she thought we would wait until closer to Christmas to build it...no way! Not at this house. I don't know who was more excited...mom or Luke. We made it the second we got it :)

First Snow!

After a few weeks of 50 and 60 degree weather I was beginning to wonder if NH would ever get snow for Christmas...well, who knows if it will stay but I hope so because it looks beautiful and it makes my dirt lawn look amazing!

Blue Man Group

Well...as you can see my son is in his pajamas and thought that he would complete his look with blue marker. I made the mistake of putting on makeup that morning and telling him that only girls wear makeup and that he could not wear mine! Apparently this is the result. He was quite pleased with his work!

November???

Apparently the month of November has come and gone and I have managed to completely neglect the blog...we've been alittle busy! Basically we are just dealing with everyday life people...nothing too special, but here are some highlights from the past few weeks...

Trick or Treating

Elle was a skunk for her first Halloween. She was so stinkin cute!

Lukey wanted to be a green dragon this year because green is his favorite color and he likes dragons. He was alittle disappointed though that his costume didn't come with fire :)

I am supposed to be an extension of Elle's flower bed...and well...Keith is Dr. Frankenstein standing about 8ft tall. I am so glad he isn't really that tall because making those pants was a pain in the butt!

Trick or treating on Halloween night in New Boston is quite the event...everyone comes out for it...even in the drizzling rain! The center of town turns into Halloween haven and the stores and houses all pass out candy. The garden center transforms into a unique haunted house and the fire station whips out all the blow up lawn decor. It's very fun and festive and we love it!

Happy Halloween

The Dragon and The Skunk just before we head out to do some night time trick or treating in New Boston.

This is Just Funny...

This is our "big head" Luke...he loves to try things on...who wouldn't want to wear this mask though? Can I blame him?

Frankenstein Treats

Yup...this is all sugar! And no...he didn't get to eat both of them :) Luke loves to do projects, and ones with candy and frosting are definitely a bonus. We love making crazy yumilicious food!
