Baby Tess has arrived!

On Monday morning July 9th,at 8:11am Tess Isabel arrived and wasted no time! We got to the hospital at 7:15am and almost an hour later she was here! Sooo another close call for mom...and another natural delivery (darn). Luckily everything worked out great...our other kids were taken care of by Bapo and Mimi on their way to work and Keith wasn't already at work that morning. Thank goodness for small miracles and for the man upstairs! We are all home now and adjusting to life with our new baby. We love it! Our newest family picture! Everyone is in love with baby Tess! Luke brought me a picture of what he thought the baby was going to look like. He showed it to me and then looked at the baby and said..."Well, it looks like I was a little off!" Mommy and Tess just minutes after her arrival into this world! Another little angel for daddy.

Candyland Party

Happy Birthday to Luke and Elle! We had an awesome day with lots of fun. I took a bunch of pictures but am too exhausted to post more than this...but this is a pretty good look at what we did for our Candyland Party. A special thanks to all the family that came to celebrate with us...and for everyone's help making it such a special day for our kids. Thank you, thank you, thank you, we love you! This year Luke turned 6 and Elle turned 3! Where does the time go? We opted for a Candyland theme for the two of them and it was tons of fun! The kids with their cousins at the Candy Castle and a very special guest...KING CANDY! We had different stations with games and activities that covered the locations on the Candyland board. The licorice Forest obstacle course...and the Gumdrop mountains Roller Coaster and gumdrop guessing game. These pictures are definitely not in any order...but this was the final stop...The Candy Castle where they made crowns and had their pictures taken with King Candy Hmmm...this one is blurry, but this was Peanut Acres. The kids collected peanuts and put them in the pully and roped them up to the clubhouse where they tried to toss their peanuts into Gramma Nut's Basket. Gloppy's Chocolate Swamp - we had facepainting! A view of the gumdrop mountain roller coaster ride. This is the Lollipop woods...we had different games that the kids had to do through the lollipop woods - balancing objects and hopping balls Gloppy's facepainting station Snowflake lake - they jumped in the lake with snowflakes and white balloons All the girls had special gingerbread hair clips...this is Elle decorating her gingerbread bag so she can collect prizes from the pinata we made. Luke having a go at the Lollipop obstacles...and our lovely party guests spectating! This was the Peppermint Forest Limbo game The last event was the homemade Pinata! Both the kids helped me make it for a few days...it was fun to do...we've never made one before. Luke gives this party a super thumbs up! Its inside for presents...it was pretty packed since the whole fam was in one room that was filled with presents for both kids! We are so lucky to have family close by...it always makes for great parties and definitely spoiled kids! The newest little cousin...Madison Lee Reinfurt made her appearance at Candyland! We had a week of rain before the party! I was a little nervous about what we would do with all my cardboard and paper party decorations...not to mention how we would BBQ with 25 people and entertain the kids...This is my halelujiah picture of the house the day of the party! Thank goodness for small miracles.
