Dinosaurs 2010 Exhibit

We went to this back in February and I never got around to posting it! This was a small dinosaur exhibit at our city science center. Luke is really into Dinos and has been for a while so we thought it would be cool to check this out...and it was :) He thought it was awesome of course!

Vegetable Lasagnas

Happy BDay GG and GG!

About 2 weeks ago we celebrated my grandparent's birthdays at their house. Their bdays are a day apart so it is always fun to celebrate the two of them together. I of course didn't do a good job of taking pictures of the party...I must have been eating or chasing kids...so sorry, but here is a picture of the picture cake I made them. If you haven't ever seen this it is pretty cool...you can actually eat the photos on the cake. They are printed on rice paper. This was the first time I had done this type of cake and it ended up working out awesome. So if you ever thought about doing this...go for it because all you have to do is take your pictures to a bakery and they will print them on rice paper for you. You can cut them out yourself and place them on the cake however you like...cover the edge with some frosting...and you're good to go!

Sugar Cookies 101

Its kind of funny...I think this is the first time I have actually ever made sugar cookies in my life. I said made...not eaten them...that I have done! Anyway...when you tell your 3 year old that he can pick out the cookie cutter...make sure you don't give him a box with 100 cookie cutters in it because he will probably want to make atleast 78 of them! Atleast that's what mine did...one cookie for each shape...that was a fun day of dishes. Well...atleast he was thrilled...right?!

He officially climbs trees...

Well...this may not come as a suprise to most of you, however...until this spring I was unaware of the fact that Luke is capable of climbing a small pine tree in the back yard when left alone to change a baby's diaper...

I came back outside and didn't see him so I called for him....like usual...and he yells to me from the tree..."Don't worry mom, I have excellent climbing skills...I'm a panda bear looking for Bamboo."
