Trick or Treating

Elle was a skunk for her first Halloween. She was so stinkin cute!

Lukey wanted to be a green dragon this year because green is his favorite color and he likes dragons. He was alittle disappointed though that his costume didn't come with fire :)

I am supposed to be an extension of Elle's flower bed...and well...Keith is Dr. Frankenstein standing about 8ft tall. I am so glad he isn't really that tall because making those pants was a pain in the butt!

Trick or treating on Halloween night in New Boston is quite the event...everyone comes out for it...even in the drizzling rain! The center of town turns into Halloween haven and the stores and houses all pass out candy. The garden center transforms into a unique haunted house and the fire station whips out all the blow up lawn decor. It's very fun and festive and we love it!

Happy Halloween

The Dragon and The Skunk just before we head out to do some night time trick or treating in New Boston.

This is Just Funny...

This is our "big head" Luke...he loves to try things on...who wouldn't want to wear this mask though? Can I blame him?

Frankenstein Treats

Yup...this is all sugar! And no...he didn't get to eat both of them :) Luke loves to do projects, and ones with candy and frosting are definitely a bonus. We love making crazy yumilicious food!

Jack-o-latern Night

We love Halloween! And carving pumpkins is always a blast. We had a good time listening to scary Halloween music and carving our pumpkins...and even more fun was roasting the seeds and eating them.

The Real Reason We Rake Leaves...

I think this is all pretty self explanitory...we are definitely hurling our son into a huge pile of dirty leaves and he is loving every minute of it!

Luke and Elley Belly

Another great day with my kiddos :) Luke loves holding Elle...for about 15 seconds at a time...and then he says "ok I'm done." He's a character!

Back at the Ranch

Fall is here so I busted out the scarecrow.

I was trying to get a picture of the leaves starting to change in the backyard...

Sooo we've been doing a lot of yard work! You wouldn't know it unless you were us! After we took down all those trees in May we were left with a huge mess and hours and hours of picking up sticks and brush. Sooo here is a picture of a pretty cleaned up dirt lot that will someday be grass...and just think how great this is going to look in the winter when all the dirt is covered with snow :) I am actually looking forward to it! Honestly though...the house is starting to look great thanks to my hard working husband who doesn't mind all this back breaking work. I'm really happy with all the stone walls he built from the rocks that were in our yard! And there are plenty more where that came from.

Oh...he'll find a way to entertain himself!

The other day I walked by the toy room...and Luke was just busy taping feathers to his face...awesome!

This weekend Luke put on his apron, made himself a chef hat...and well...made me cookie soup and a fish sandwich...DELICIOUS! He loves pretending to be a chef.

This is Luke in timeout...apparently I need to remove that pillow from the chair. I had to sneak this picture from behind the staircase so he wouldn't see me encouraging his behaviour...haha...I have to sneak so many pictures!
